Stacy, Emmy, and Michele are three musicians and educators who believe in the transformative power of song. We’ve joined forces to create an incubator for culturally responsive voice training, artist development, and community-building through music. Over the years, we’ve shared stages in jazz clubs, concert halls, and folk festivals, and taught voice in multiple genres—from classical to improvisation to somatic voice work. Now, The Nest is our home base for sharing educational and healing events that uplift our musical community.

We created the The Nest voice studio as a place where singers come to reconnect with their voices and themselves. We believe singing is a deeply personal and evolving practice—one rooted in listening, embodiment, and self-love. Through an approach that blends mindful listening, vocal improvisation, a voice-body connection, and the nurturing of the voice as a living instrument, we guide each singer to build trust in their voice, explore creative freedom, and embrace their unique sound. Whether you’re learning to listen more deeply, improvise with confidence, reconnect with your body, or cultivate a loving, lifelong relationship with your voice, The Nest offers a supportive and empowering space to grow.
